We at Living Lullaby Designs are a little amazed at all the new graphic comforter/ duvet covers that are available on the internet. It seems like such a simple concept to take any image and put it onbedding, but the result is quite striking.
For example, we love this snowflake duvet cover that we have designed into our Frozen Girl’s Room. The options seem endless if you want a more dramatic statement with your bedding. We recommend being careful though with such a strong statement on the bed. This is because it takes all attention away from anything else you may have wanted to stand out, including art. The bed basically becomes the artwork in the room.
Frozen Room Bedding
The playful nature of this bedding option is exactly why we are so intrigued by it for children’s rooms. There are cutesy ones for younger kids, and beautifully bold ones for older kids and teenagers. Check out these duvet covers by DENY Designs, Oliver Gal, and these by Kess InHouse. They also have a lot at Urban Outfitters.
It is always fun to use new and interesting things in design. I just need to figure out which room in my house to put one of these in.
